Robert G. Raines, 57, of Summerfield, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at Fort Smith, Ark. He was born Jan. 1, 1947 at Wister. Mr. Raines was a bookkeeper/accountant and was of the Baptist faith. He loved fishing, baseball, playing guitar, and working on the computer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Raines; and two brothers, Bruce Zane Raines and Allen Carter Raines.

Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Raines of Wister; a sister, Charlotte Cochran of Ganado, Texas; numerous other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 29 in Summerfield Cemetery with the Rev. Don Taylor officiating, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
