Don Simmons, 53, of Heavener, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, at Fort Smith, Ark. He was a resident of the area for the last 15 years.

Survivors include his wife Jeannie Simmons; a daughter, Sarah Simmons of the home; his mother, Eller Marie Simmons of Amarillo, Texas; four sisters, Marie Franklin of Dumas, Texas, Mary Brown of California, Hazel of Amarillo and Betty Mayfield of Sayer, Okla.; six brothers, James Simmons of Washington, Dale Simmons, Jerry Simmons, Bobby Simmons and Charley Wayne Simmons, all of Amarillo, Texas, and Jimmy Simmons of Memphis, Tenn.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13 at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener
