Hazel Lee Simmons, 93, of Heavener, passed away Monday, June 7, 2004, in Heavener. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.

Survivors include four nieces, Mary Evelyn Sunderman of Willows, Calif., Teresa Manas of Winters, Calif., Margie Evans of Waldron, Ark. and Georgia Sue Shaddon of Panama; one nephew, Ernest Hattabaugh of Vacaville, Calif.; a host of great-nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 10 at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
