CALHOUN, Okla. — Velma Lucille (McClain) Woodside, 81, of Calhoun, Okla., died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, in Poteau. She was born Aug. 26, 1927, in Howe. She graduated from Panama High School and was a member of First Step of Faith Church in Poteau.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Step of Faith Church in Poteau. The body will be cremated under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.

She is survived by a daughter, Verna Wagner of Cameron; a son, Mike McClain of Bokoshe; three sisters, Onice McClain and Roberta Tal, both of Shady Point, Okla., and Eunice Sullivant of Tulsa; a brother, Cleo
