Olen H. 'Sode' Goldsborough, 81, of Spiro, passed away
Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004, in Poteau. He was born March 11, 1923,
at Walls. He was a cattle buyer and a member of the Cattle
Buyers Association.
Survivors include his wife Jean Goldsborough of the home; two
sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Linda Goldsborough of Spiro
and Terry and Debbie Goldsborough of Poteau; one brother, Edward
Goldsborough of Tulsa; three grandchildren, Dana Webb, Monte and
Ellen Goldsborough and Carmon Ann Goldsborough; four
great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relative
and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3 at Evans Chapel
of Memories at Poteau with the Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating.
Burial will follow in Dog Creek Cemetery at Dog Creek under the
direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Rosso, Allen Hales, Gene Ward, Donnie
Shadwick, Tom Tally and Sam Godwin.
