Mary L. Gunn, 67, of Poteau passed away Saturday, April 30, 2005, in Poteau. She was born on December 22, 1937 in Ponca City to Homer and Geraldine (Bell) Luckinbill.

She married her best friend and her one true love Wayne Gunn, in Ponca City on June 2, 1956. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Poteau and was President of Wayne Enterprises Inc. in Poteau.

Mary leaves a living legacy of family and friends who are as family, who live in the light of her faith, encouragement, hope, strength, and courage. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Wayne Gunn of the home, two daughters Gloria Gunn of North Carolina and Marilyn Kvasnicka and husband Matthew of Indiana. One brother Don Luckinbill and wife Pat of Colorado, seven grandchildren Marianne, Bethanye, Jill, Ashley, Joshua, Chelsea and Elizabeth and many more beloved family and friends. Pallbearers will be Monte Shockley, Dr. John Montgomery, Monte Shockley II, Rob Dorey, Shane Liles and Bob Dorey. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at the Presbyterian Church in Poteau with the Rev. Christopher B. Hughes officiating.

Interment will follow at the Oakland Cemetery in Poteau. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Presbyterian Memorial Fund, PO Box 342, Poteau, OK 74953.
