In 1879 Joseph Albert Lovet (Lovett) and wife Nancy Rosanna George migrated from Texas to the area of the Chickasaw Nation, which later became Love county, Okla..

J A Lovett farmed the area from 1880 until finally in 1917 he secured a negotiated deed for 160 acres just east of ORR between the Chickasaw Nation and The United States signed by T.R. Roosevelt.

Nancy Rosanna (George) Lovet passed shortly after her 5th child was born.

J A remarried M J Lynch near Thackerville in May 1895. J A was 42 and M J Lynch was 22. Minnie and Jennie were from this marriage.

M J and Nora is missing from the household at the time of 1900 census.

L G (Lorenzo) is listed on the 1910 Census, however the family temporarily relocated to Jackson county in the early 1900's and purchased land in jackson and Love County from 1917 until their passing in 1929.
