"Abe" Boudreau Buried Here - Was Last Brother of Purcell Man
Albert "Abe" F. Boudreau, 55, brother of Homer
Boudreau, Purcell, died Thursday in an Oklahoma City hospital following
an illness of nine months. He suffered a stroke some time ago and never
regained his health.
Known as "Abe" by fellow Santa Fe workers, Boudreau
was a native of Purcell. He had worked for the railroad since 1919 as a
baggage agent and had lived in Oklahoma City since 1927. There he was a
member of Our Lady's cathedral and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Rosary was held Friday evening in Oklahoma City and
mass at Our Lady's cathedral. Burial was made in Hillside cemetery,
Purcell.
Survivors include his wife, Marie, of the home; a
daughter, Mrs. Betty Sue Pitzer; a brother, Homer, of Purcell; three
sisters, Mrs. Carrie Beumeler and Miss Aldia Boudreau, both of Okahoma
City, and Mrs. Lewis Sullings, Pampa, Texas.
