    McWhorters Rites at Washington

    Funeral services for Mrs. Donnie D. McWhortes, 78, wife of R.B. McWhorters and a well known resident of the Washington community for many years were held Friday afternoon of last week in the Washington Baptist church, with Rev. Alexander officiating.
    A native of Arkansas, Mrs. McWhorters died Christmas day in the Norman Municipal hospital following a long illness. Interment was in Hillside cemetery.
