MAMIE M. UNDERWOOD was born April 17, 1920 in Monette, MO to Everett A. and
Livina C. (McDunner) Marbut, and died Saturday, August 19, 2000 in Checotah,
OK. Graveside services were August 22 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah
under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Checotah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jonathan, and three
sons, Carl, Arlis, and Joseph.
Survivors include two sons, Ernest Underwood of Antlers, OK and Floyd L.
Underwood of Checotah, OK; two daughters, Artis Neff of Oswage, Indiana, and
Clarsey Leigh Massa of Goshen, IN; 13 grandchildren, and 17 great
grandchildren.
