DOROTHY F. FRANCIS
was born July 5, 1941 in Muskogee, OK to Barlow
and Elizabeth (Oneal) Cowan, married Oscar Francis in 1983 at Eufaula, and
died July 29, 2001 in Checotah. Graveside services were held Augusta 1 at
the
Silver Springs Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of
Checotah.
Survivors include her husband; a step daughter, Theresa Buckmaster
of
Checotah; a brother, James Cowan of Corpus Christy, TX; a granddaughter,
Stephanie Buckmaster of Yukon and a great granddaughter, Skylar Nicole
McClain Buckmaster of Checotah; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Brett
Loyd
McClain Muckmaster.

Paul "Pete"
McIntosh
Paul "Pete" McIntosh, of Bristow, Oklahoma passed away
Monday, March 20, 2006. He was 68 years of age. He was born November 28,
1937 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He graduated from Dewar High School in 1959.
He attended auto body and fender school in Kansas City, Missouri in 1960.
He worked as a machinist at Oklahoma Steel Castings in Tulsa, Oklahoma
for 19 years. He lived in The Bristow, Oklahoma area for the past 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Reverend John D. McIntosh
and Velva Richard McIntosh; brothers John McIntosh, Abe McIntosh, David
McIntosh; and 2 infant siblings.
He is survived by: son Clay McIntosh of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three
daughters, Joy McIntosh of Denver, Colorado, Jill Green of Tulsa, Oklahoma
Chandra Hayes of Bixby, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; and former wife Vernia
McIntosh of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Sister Wyvona Evans of Tiger Mountain, Oklahoma;
three brothers Joe McIntosh of Dewar, Oklahoma, Reverend Ledtkey McIntosh
of Atlanta, Georgia, Richard McIntosh of Tiger Mountain, Oklahoma; and
many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pete was a loving brother, father, uncle, grandfather and friend.
He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Wake services will be on Friday at 6 pm at the McClendon-Winters
Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March
25, 2006 at 1 pm at the Silver Springs Church, Tiger Mountain, Oklahoma
with Reverend Ledtkey McIntosh officiating. Interment will be in the Silver
Springs Cemetery.

JACKSON TIGER, JR
TIGER MOUNTAIN — Funeral services for Jackson
Tiger,Jr. were held July 9 at Silver Springs Baptist Church officiated
byRev. A. J. Tiger and Rev. Dennis Bible.Jackson was born September 17,
1921 to Lila (Collins) andJackson Tiger Sr.He was married to Dorcus (Lowe)
Tiger, at Silver SpringsBaptist Church on January 7, 1948. Jackson was
a school bus driverand custodian with Dewar Schools for many years. He
was a vet-eran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army. Tiger was a
mem-ber of Silver Springs Baptist Church.Jackson was proceeded in death
by his parents.Survivors include: his wife of the home; four children,
A.J.and Tony Tiger of Tiger Mountain, Wilma Tiger of Okmulgee, EricTiger
of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; six great grand-children;
a special nephew Tad Lowe of Dickison, Texas as well asa host of friends
and other relatives.
Pallbearers include: Tony R. Tiger, Eric Tiger, Brett Tiger, ZacTiger,
Tyler Tiger, Carl Britt, Tad Lowe, and Ross Britt, Brett Tiger, Jr.Honorary

OSCAR MACK FRANCIS was
born Feb 12, 1946 in Henryetta, OK and died
Feb 9, 2003 in Checotah. Services were Feb 11 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel
followed by burial in Silver Springs Cemetery, Pierce, OK under the direction
of
Smith Funeral Home of Checotah.
Survivors include his mother, Rachel Richardson and her husband,
Robert of
Rosamond, CA; a granddaughter, Stephanie Buckmaster of Yukon; four aunts,
Mary Edmondson of Dewar, Leah Edmondson of Bristow, Ellen Garza of El
Dorado,KS and Eliza Shaver of Claremore; three uncles, Mitchell Francis
of
Dewar, Jeff Francis of Checotah and Robert Francis of Claremore; a great
uncle,
Johnson Wocoche of Tahlequah.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Jean) Francis
in 20; his
grandmother; a grandson, Brett Buckmaster; Mary Francis; two uncles, George
and Johnny Francis and an aunt, Christine Francis.

Stella Jane McIntosh
Stella Jane McIntosh 64, a resident of Dewar,
Oklahoma. The Lord called her home in Tulsa on Wednesday, February 23,
2005 after a short illness. She was born on February 14, 1941 to Mack
and Eloise (Dorrah) Davis in Henryetta, OK. She married Joe McIntosh on
September 10, 1960 at Silver Springs Church. She was the honorary "Grandma"
of the Tomboy’s softball Team. Stella enjoyed watching her grandkids
play ball and enjoyed playing bingo. She had worked as a childcare provider
and was a member of the Silver Springs Indian Baptist Church at Tiger
Mountain, Oklahoma and was baptized into Christ on October 8, 1949. Her
parents and a brother Silias Davis preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband Joe (Spook) McIntosh
of the home, two sons; Stoney and wife Yvonne McIntosh of Hitchita, OK,
Stanley McIntosh also of Hitchita, OK, one daughter Sonya and husband
Rich Lytch of Henryetta, two sisters Ella Miller of Oklahoma City, OK
and Sylvia Johnny of Dewar, OK, one brother Jr. Davis of Okmulgee and
five grandchildren; Raylynn McIntosh, Justin McIntosh, Josh McIntosh,
Keagan Lytch, Jordan Gresham and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Wake services will be at 7 pm on Friday at the
McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee. Rev. Ledtkey McIntosh
will officiate. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 2 pm at the Silver
Springs Indian Baptist Church with Re. Dennis Bible officiating. Burial
will be in the Silver Springs Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters
Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Visitation will be on Friday, 1 until 8 pm at
the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jack Miller, Jody Smith, Marc
Archer, Josh McIntosh, Justin McIntosh and Richard Lytch. Honorary pallbearers
will be Sam Pointer, Ronnie Brison, Charlie Pointer, Aaron Culley and
Todd Culley.

Joe Lloyd Lowe
Joe Lloyd Lowe, 77, a resident
of Dewar, died Sunday morning, February 19, 2006 at Rebold Manor. Joe
was born April 9, 1928 in Richardville, Oklahoma to Albert C. and Linnie
Z. (Richards) Lowe. He lived in the Tiger Mountain and Pierce areas all
of his life and had worked at Smithco in Tulsa before retirement. Joe
enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Silver Spring Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Zeola (Napier) Lowe, a
brother, Sam Lowe and a sister, Ida Mae Hughes. Survivors include his
step-daughter, Melissa Stokes of Henryetta, three brothers, Hickman McIntoch
of Dallas, Jerry R. Lowe of Eufaula, and Tommy R. Lowe of Rio Vista, CA,
two sisters, Dorcas Tiger of Tiger Mountain and Abbie Davis of Dewar,
two grandchildren, Amber and Ryan Berno and two great grandchildren, Devin
Thompson and Damian Donathon. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M.
Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at the Silver Spring Baptist Church with
Reverend A.J. Tiger officiating, assisted by Reverend Dennis Bible. Interment
will follow in the Silver Spring Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Randy
Cochran, Shaun Cochran, Sonny Been, Robert Davis, Sam Deer, Jr. and Lewis
Bible, Jr. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters
Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
