The Town of Goose Nest |

A community west of Davis that was platted and registered April 10, 1911 by surveyor G. W. King. It had a school and was located: S17, T1S, R1E. The town was named after the Goose Nest Mine that was nearby. There were many lead and zinc mines in the Arbuckle Mountains. The general area where the town was located is 4 miles west and 3 miles south of Davis, OK.
