"NUMBER TWO"

This community was located on the banks of Rock Creek between the Arbuckle Lake dam and the town of Dougherty on State Highway 110. It is located exactly one mile south of the intersection of SH 110 and Goddard Road. It is marked by the old concrete structure, which was a sand plant known locally as “Number 2”. The informally organized community took the name “Number Two”. The children went to school at the nearby Rock Creek School.
