Dub West (deceased) wrote several books of which Turning Back the Clock is one. This book was privately published by Muskogee Publishing Company in 1985. There were not many copies of the book printed and it is almost impossible to find a copy.

The book is 153 pages and does not have a name index (or at least my copy does not).

This book is made up of reprints of Mr. West's column Turning Back the Clock from the Muskogee Sunday Phoenix (approximately 1982-1985) (See Forward). The articles tell stories about the early days - and people - of Muskogee. I have only transcribed a couple of the articles completely so as to stay within the rules of Copyright.
