3 Story Morgue Building Planned

The Marshall-Harper Undertaking company of Oklahoma City has begun construction of a new building they will occupy by May 1. The building is to be located at 1010 North Broadway. When completed it will cost approximately $40,000. The building is to be constructed of algonite stone and brick and will be three stories high. In addition there will be a basement. When completed it will be one of the finest equipped and most complete undertaking parlors west of Chicago. The first floor will be taken up with the offices, the embalming rooms and the state rooms. There are to be two state rooms, one for men and one for women. On the second floor is to be a chapel for funeral services, which will seat 200 persons. The show rooms, in which caskets will be placed, will be on the third floor of the building. The stock will be carried in the basement. Two reception rooms will be located on the first floor. The building is to be equipped with elevators.
