May 27, 2005; Amelia "Amy" Knight , 42, of OKC, passed away on May 23, 2005. Amy was born May 2, 1963 in Oklahoma City to John E. and Patricia A. (Corcoran) Jennings. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family. Amy married Rodney Knight on July 6, 1996 in OKC. She is survived by her husband Rodney, 2 sons, Jason Knight and wife Mari, and Timothy Knight , 2 grandchildren Hunter and Vidalya, mother Patricia Wallace, father John Jennings, sister Tammy Lane and husband Rick, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Pam and dad Jack Wallace. Funeral

Woman dies after wreck

An Oklahoma City woman died in a fiery crash Monday morning in Oklahoma City, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.  Amelia Knight , 42, was driving on Interstate 240 about 12:30 a.m. when her sport utility vehicle left the road and hit the sand barrels at the Bryant Street Bridge.

Knight's vehicle then entered the median, struck several more sand barrels and crashed into an overhead street sign. The SUV came to a stop and caught fire.  Knight died at the scene.
