Daily Oklahoman, The Oklahoma City, Oklahoma July 31, 1981, page 1 Crash Kills 3 Lawmen on Pot Hunt Bill Morgan, 29, of the State Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control, who was piloting the plane, and McAlester officers David Sheehan, 28, and Ronnie Fox, 38.
Morgan, 29, was scheduled to open the first McAlester office of the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs on Monday.

Morgan's funeral will be held at 3 pm Sunday in the Capitol. The body will lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda beginning at 11 am. Services for Sheehan and Fox ewill be held today. Sheehan's services will be at 10 am in the Northgate Baptist Church in McAlester. Services for Fox will be at 2 pm in the Arpelar Nazerne Church in Arpelar. Agent Billy Morgan were killed when their plane crashed into
Jack Fork Mountain in south eastern Oklahoma. The officers were
searching for marijuana fields at the time.
