John P. Adams retired salesman and city property owner, died
of a heart ailment Saturday night at his home at 2125 Northwest
Twenty-seventh street. He was 74 years old.
Smith came to Oklahoma from Iowa in 1901, and lived at El
Reno until 1918, when he moved here. During most of this time he
was a salesman for the J. I. Case company.
Surviving are his wife, three brothers, J. B., 1808 Northeast
Sixteenth street; Charles F., Dustin. Neb.. and Fred E., Boise.
Idaho; and three sisters. Mrs. Ada Updegraph. Seattle. wash.;
Mrs. Clam Shinn, Sioux City, Iowa; and Mrs. C. E. Davis, Tucson,
Ariz.
Services will be announced by the Smith and Kernke funeral home.
