The Edmond Sun Edmond, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma December 23, 2006 11:02 pm print this story email this story comment on this story Beulah “Bea” Anderson 1913-2006 Funeral services for Beulah “Bea” Anderson, 93, of Oklahoma City, sister of Buddy Mayes of Edmond, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Baggerley Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Carney Cemetery in Carney. Anderson was born Aug. 8, 1913, in Stroud. She died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, in Oklahoma City. She was a teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horton and Esther Mayes; her husband, Keith Anderson; and three sisters, Sylvia Chew, Jill Brogden and Lovie Miller. Other survivors include one daughter, Donna Marie Hawkins Billen of Scottsdale, Ariz.; sisters, Gladys Newberry of Hobart and Yvonne Kyle of Oklahoma City; brother, Don Mayes of Piedmont; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
