Claude A. Armstrong, 82, died in Clancy, Montana on May 29, 2000.
Born in Tulsa Oklahoma on January 3, 1918 to Claude Armstrong Sr. and Mabel (Cory) Armstrong.
Claude was the oldest of six siblings.
World War II Veteran
He married Virginia Ford in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1948. She proceeded him in death in 1981.
Claude owned West Auto Parts for thirty years.
Claude retired to Helena, Montana in 1982 to be near his sons, Ron and Dale.
In addition to his wife, Claude was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Evely Brooks, Doris Gayle, Maxine Smith; and brother Loyd Armstrong. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Ron and Dianne Aromstrong of Helena; Dale Armstrong of Salmon, Idaho; sister Claudia Howerton and husband, Floyd of Sun Lakes, Arizona; niece Shelia Whittle of San Francisco; sister-in-law, Clyde Armstrong of Wellston, Oklahoma; brother-in-law Harry Hicks and wife, Orella of McCaysville, George; brother-in-law Jack Ford and wife, Mary of Oklahoma City, and special friend, Marge Short of Clancy...
Funeral services were held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, June 3 with interment to follow at a later time in Resurrection Cemetery in Helena, Montana.
