Bacon, Velma O. Age 82, of Moore, passed away Monday after a short illness, at a local nursing home. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Church and was a long time resident of OKC.

She is survived by 1 son Charles, of Sparks Ok, 1 daughter Bela Carson of Graham Tx, 1 brother Thurman Weems Jr. of Haileyville Ks, 1 sister Jean Weems of OKC, step-mother Rena Weems of Sulphur, 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 am Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Hunter Memory Chapel, 2427 S. Harvey, with burial in Sunnylane Cemetery.
