Dorothy Gladys Baker, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1992. She was born in Houston, Missouri on July 19, 1906.
Relocated to a homestead in Binger, OK where she received her education and then moved on to Woodward,
OK, where she was a telephone operator. Later she opened her own beauty shop in Oklahoma City. It was here she met and married William Howard Baker, who preceded her in death.
Members of her family include her daughter, Doris Owings of Woodward, Ok.; her grandson, Michael Owings; her granddaughter, Tony Richmond of Dallas; and great grandson, John Orlando of Woodward, Ok. Dorothy will also be dearly missed by her adoptive son, Evan Griffiths, and his daughter, Jacqueline Griffiths.
Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9:00 p.m. A graveside funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
