C. L. Barber Rites Today

Services for Charles L. Barber, 63, of 1016 NW 91, who died Saturday, will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Sherman Funeral Home with burial in Britton Cemetery.

Barber born in Des Moines and moved to Edmond as a child. He was a member of the Britton police force for 10 years and was special officer seven years.

Survivors include his wife, Sevella; a daughter, Mrs. Sam Andrews, 10201 Lyndon Rd; five brothers, Harry, Big Cabin; Walter, Oklahoma City; Henry, Howard and Herbert, all of Edmond: and four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Gullett, Gentry, Ark.; Mrs. Ruth Bolings, Big Cabin; Mrs. Ruby McDaniel, Edmond and Mrs. Pearl Newman, Duncan.
