Funeral
services were conducted over the body of Albert J. Barnes, 68
years old, at the hone, of his son, Eugene A. Barnes, _318 Dale
Avene, at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon:
The address
was made by the Rev. Dr. Phil C. Baird, pastor of the Central
Presbyterian church, after which the Grand Army of the Republic,
of which organization the dead man was a member, assumed charge
of the Interment at
Fairlawn cemetery.
Mr. Barnes
died Wednesday morning of Bright’s disease, and is survived by
three children, Eugene A., Clarence and George Barnes. He had
been it resident of Oklahoma City since, the opening, April 22,
1889.
