Kirsti Kyllikki Barrick, 92, died September 12, 2006 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born September 20, 1913 in Red Lodge, MT. She moved to Oklahoma City in June of 1959 from Duluth, MN and last resided at Saint Ann Retirement Center. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church for 47 years, a longtime member of the church choir and sewing ministry of St. Charles, a 30-year member of Western Electric Pioneers, an avid bowler, and a breast cancer survivor. Kirsti was a devoted wife and mother of 4 children and 4 stepchildren, with 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Henry Calvin Barrick, and before that, her husband of 22 years, Adolph William Schneider. Survivors include a brother, Tyke Kainu, and a niece, Mary Ann Kainu, both of Billings, MT, and a nephew Ron Kainu, Helena, MT; children, James Schneider, Enid, OK, William Schneider, Oklahoma City, OK, Michael Schneider, Loveland, OH, Sandra Seibel, Franklin, MA; step-children, Linda Siebold, Central Valley, NY, Susan Baucom, Mustang, OK, Bud Barrick, Parker, CO, Pamela Roney, Federal Way, WA; grandchildren, Kevin Baucom, Julie Gerten, CPT Kevin Siebold, Eric Siebold, Kristy Butler, Toni Gorman, Jill Lyman, Debbie LaBrie, Scott Schneider, Phil Schneider, Geoff Schneider, Amanda Schneider, John Seibel, James Seibel, Tana Conrad and Bennett Casey; great-grandchildren, Garrett Gerten, Sierra Siebold, Amy Butler, Melissa Butler, Thomas Gorman, Hayden Lyman, Madison Lyman, Chloe LaBrie, Seth Schneider and Isabel Schneider. Memorial donations may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Friday, September 15, 2006 at Smith & Kernke, 14624 N. May Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 15, 2006 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
