Audra Edythe Barton was born October 22, 1929 in Wilmington, DE, to Clarence Augustive & Margaret Bell Wirt. She passed from this life on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the age of 79. Audra married Charles A. Barton in Wilmington, DE, where they had two children, Michael Bruce Barton of Houston and Lynn Marie Barton Berry, deceased.

Audra spent her adult life in Oklahoma City, where she worked in retail sales and enjoyed spending time with her friends. What mattered most to Audra was her family. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. In 2004 she had moved to Houston, TX to be near her son, Mike.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles, her daughter, Lynn and her brother, Clarence Wirt. In addition to her son, Audra is survived by her grandson, Lucas Michael Barton and his wife Micah, of Dallas grandsons, Benjamin Dee Barton of Dallas Walker Shoemaker Berry of Santa Monica, CA and Cole Barton Berry of Breckinridge, CO her sister, Sue Ann Agostini of Wilmington, DE and her daughter-in-law, Dee Anne Barton of Houston, TX.

Memorial services will be private at Rose Hill Burial Park, Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimers Association
