Charles Batman Rites Tuesday in Enid Chapel

ENID, Jan. 16 - Services for Charles Allen Batman, 83, who died Friday her be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Henninger-Allen funeral chapel.

Burial will be in the Glenwood cemetery near Ringwood.

A native of Rockport, Mo., Batman came to Oklahoma in 1895. He lived near Ringwood and later Lahoma before moving to Enid in 1917.He was a member or the Davis Park Christian church.

Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. C. M. Haroughty, Enid; a brother. Rev. J. M. Batman, Ringwood; seven sisters, Mrs. Lizzie David and Mrs. Fannie Swezev, both of Enid; Mrs. Alice Christian. Lane, Kan; Mrs. George Shook. Lebanon, Kan.; Mrs. Ida Cole. Portland, Ore.: Mrs. E. J. Dosser. Los Angeles. and Mrs. Emma Wright, Ringwood.
