Doris Joan Bond, age 63, of Choctaw, OK, passed away August 5, 2009 at her home. She was born to Cecil and Thelma Lorene (Wilson) Lay on March 30, 1946 in Gowen, OK. She was an agent in the insurance business. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, baking and sewing. Her parents and one sister, Thelma Sue Toy preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Anthony; one son, Michael McCool and wife Missy of McLoud, OK; two daughters, Christina McDuffee and husband David of Harrah, OK and Angela McCool of McLoud, OK; three grandchildren, Jodi McCool, Wacey McDuffee and Bryson McCool; five brothers, Monroe Lay, Ronnie Lay both of Wilburton, OK, Bobby Lay, Donnie Lay both of McLoud, OK and Don Ray Lay of Moore, OK; two sisters, Wanda Robison of Wister, OK and Betty Trench of Oklahoma City, OK. Funeral services will be held at Bill Eisenhour NE Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, 1:00 pm, with burial to follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Harrah, OK.
