Byrne A. Bowman , Jr. (Pete) born November 20, 1940 in Oklahoma City, OK, died June 21, 2002, in Little Rock, AR. He graduated Harding High School, OKC and Westminster College, Fulton, MO. A member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

Predeceased by his mother, Nancy Bowman and father, Byrne A. Bowman , Sr. Survived by his sister, Sherry Lou Melberg, Bartlesville, OK, nieces, Mary Beth Matson, Houston, TX, Jennifer Infelise, Edmond, OK, Janet Lynn Melberg, Denver, CO and Jeanne Diane Melberg, Oklahoma City, OK and 2 grandnieces and 2 grandnephews.

Services were held in Sherwood, Arkansas on June 24, 2002 with burial in the Arkansas Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
