Bradshaw, Lucille age 91. Went home to be with her Lord Dec.
28.
She was preceded in death by 3 sons; St. Elmo, Timothy, and
Matthew.
Survived by Blanche Bradshaw and Frances Baty of the home,
Victoria Harding of Tuttle Ok, Florence Maud Palmer of Wafco Ca,
Minnie Miller of Eau Claire Wis, 18 grandchildren, numerous
great and great-great grandchildren and other relatives and
friends. In her youth, she had her own drama school and made
moving pictures in and about Okla., including comedies and news
reels. After the invention of the "Talkies", she
continued operation of her drama school. She was the author of
numerous childrens stories and plays. For 10 years she directed
children in the performances of her plays in the various parks Sin
OKC. She was also a poet and novelist. During World War II, she
helped with the war effort by working at Tinker Air Force Base.
Since her retirement, she enjoyed traveling extensively with her
grandson Timothy Joe Bradshaw as her companion. She was an
inspiration and a joy to at least 100 descendants. Lucille was a
member of the Okla. Writers Federation Inc., Okla. City Writers
Chapter. She had sponsored annual contests for the best plays by
an Okla. writer. Wake Services 6 pm Thursday, Smith and Kernke
Chapel, Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Friday, St. Joseph's
Old Cathedral, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
