Briscoe,Margaret Ann, 93, formerly of Stillwater, died Apr 27, 1997 in Tulsa. Born Apr 28, 1903 at Nardin, Ok to Ed Canfield & Anna Lee (Hart) Denton. Graduated Newkirk H.S., attended OSU, member Zeta Tau Alpha.

Margaret married Frank Briscoe Aug 31, 1925 at Red Rock, Ok. She was a teacher and a homemaker, member of First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by sons, Andy Briscoe, Boulder, Co, Ed Briscoe & wife Doris of Tulsa; 7 grandchildren including Gaile Briscoe Klingenberg & husband Ken of OKC & 14 great grandchildren; a brother, Jack Denton & wife Anita, Jamesburg, NJ. Memorials to Stillwater Un. Methodist Church Foundation of Zeta Tau Alpha Scholarship Fund.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Apr 30, 2 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, Stillwater. Private interment Grace Cemetery, Perry, Ok. Strode Funeral Home, Stillwater.
