Brock, Monroe, 87, a resident of OKC, passed away Nov. 9,
2006. He was born Oct. 7, 1919 in Tuskerman, AR to Homer &
Elva Brock. Monroe honorably served his country in the US Air
Force in World War II with the 39th Fighter Squadron. He also
served during the Korean War. On Dec. 30, 1953, he married the
love of his life, Lorene James. Monroe worked as a skilled
upholsterer and made beautiful custom drapery. A loving husband,
devoted father, caring uncle, doting grandfather and great
grandfather, and loyal friend, Monroe will be deeply missed by
all who know & loved him.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife of 51 yrs. Lorene
Brock, who passed away July 7, 2005; and his 6 siblings.
Monroe leaves cherished memories with those who survive him:
Daughter, Patty Kinser & husband, Duane of Yukon;
Grandchildren: Debra Armstrong and Patrick D. Kinser & wife,
Stephanie; Great Grandchildren: Leilani Armstrong, Katelin Marie
Kinser & Amanda Rose Kinser; countless nieces and nephews
and other loving family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Monroe's life will be held
10:00 AM Monday, Nov. 13, 2006 at the South Colonial Chapel.

Brock, LoRene, 81, passed away Thursday July 7, 2005 in
Oklahoma City, OK. She was born to Frank and Jennie (Caulkins)
James on May 17, 1924 in Yale, OK. She married Monroe G. Brock
on December 30, 1953.
LoRene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who
will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Archie
and Raymond James; and 3 sisters, Viola Wanhala, Virginia
Gelbhar and Marjorie Collins.
She leaves precious memories with her husband, Monroe Brock;
daughter, Pat Kinser and husband Duane; 2 grandchildren, Patrick
D. Kinser and wife Stephanie, and Debra Armstrong; 2 great
granddaughters, Leilani Armstrong and Katelin Kinser; 2 sisters,
Helen Bledsoe and Eva French. Also, numerous nieces, nephews and
other family members and friends.
Memorial service to celebrate her life will be Monday July
11, 2005, at 10:00AM at Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel. A
private family burial will follow the service.
