Daily Oklahoman Oklahoma City, Oklahoma May 7, 1940 page 5 Fred D. Brooks Rites for Fred D. Brooks, 52 year old metal lather who died Sunday at his home, 1309 South Walker avenue, will be at 10 am Wednesday in the Capitol Hill chapel. Burial will be at Thomas Brooks came to Oklahoma City from Wichita, Kan., in 1911, and had lived here off and on since. He was a World veteran. Contributed by Marti Graham, October 2003.
