Donnis Joyce Brooks , age 80 of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away on Dec. 26, 2008. She was born on Aug. 18, 1928 in Oklahoma City, OK to Cicel Maxwell and Pearl Clymer. Donnis worked at Western Auto and loved quilting. She did a lot of traveling with her husband, who was in the Armed Forces. Donnis enjoyed helping people, and most of all she enjoyed spending time at home with her grandchildren.

Donnis is survived by his (sic) son Robert and wife Cheryl 7 daughters: Wernau and husband Tony, Annett and husband Steve, Karen, Sharen, Wanda, Jackie and husband Tracey, and Jennifer and husband Brian numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donnis will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00PM, Monday, December 29, 2008 at Sunnylane Cemetery, 3900 SE 29, Del City, OK. Services under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
