Board revokes licenses of Luther funeral director.

A 1999 ruling by the Oklahoma Funeral Board to revoke the licenses of funeral director/embalmer Thomas Brown of Luther was upheld Thursday in Oklahoma County District Court, said Terry McEnany, the board’s executive director.
The Funeral Board revoked Brown’s license after an administrative hearing on April 8, 1999. The board found evidence that Brown was neither a graduate of a school of mortuary science nor had he obtained the hours of college credit as required.
