Dorothy Virginia Bryson, age 88, went to be with Jesus and our Daddy, on June 21, 2006. Dorothy was born November 29, 1917, in Drumright, OK, to Milton and Gertrude Jennings. Dorothy was the third child, Merle and Nelson were born 13 and 15 years prior to Dorothy's arrival. When Dorothy was 5, her Daddy died, and her mother married Ed Rogers. Dorothy and her mother moved to Pawnee, OK where her new dad had six sons. Dorothy was still the youngest. She graduated from Pawnee High School and began working in beauty shops in Pawnee and Stillwater.

In 1938, Dorothy married Enloe Clark Bryson and they were married sixty-six years. Dorothy went to business school in 1957 and began working for civil service. She retired from FAA after working there 18 years.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers and grandson, Jimmy Pickinpaugh. She is survived by three children, Larry and Nita Bryson , Janis and Jerry Pickinpaugh, and Linda and Jim Young; 10 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. A special thank you to Windsor Manor and Odyssey Health Care for taking such good care of Dorothy.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, June 23rd, at Little Chapel of The Roses, Resthaven Memorial Cemetery, 104th & S. Western, Okla. City, OK.
