He was born Feb. 28, 1917, to Frank and Edna (Mitchell) Buford in Wade, OK.
He was a World War II veteran.
He leaves his wife, Virgie, of the home; 1 son, Jimmy Buford and wife, Rita and sons Daniel & Thomas of Bethel Acres; 2 daughters, Raylene Myers and husband, Glenn and children [named] of Okla. City, Lisa Jones and husband, Mark and children [named] of San Jose, CA; 1 stepson, Rev. Jim Ingram and wife, Ann and children [named] of Edmonds, WA; 2 stepdaughters, Debbie Faircloth and husband, Pat and daughter, Tracey of Hartsville, SC, Robin D'Amours and husband, Dave and sons [named] of Columbia, TN; 2 great grandchildren [named]; 1 brother, Frank Buford and Eva, Bokchita, OK; 4 sisters, Viola Parker of Durant, Jalaska Smith of Yukon, Chris Hughes Okla. City, Billie Kavanaugh and husband, Homer of Henderson, NV; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be May 8 2000, at Bill Eisenhour SE Chapel with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery. In-state at Bill Eisenhour SE Funeral Home Del City, OK.
