Ida Marie Burnett, age 87, departed this life April 3, 2005. Marie was born to Oscar and Mary Ledbetter at Hindsville, Arkansas on May 19, 1917. She married Victor Burnett on November 15, 1934. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters and her husband. Marie was employed by TG&Y at 36th and Western for 20 plus years. She was a member of the Church of Christ and taught Sunday school classes for many years. 

She is survived by her daughter Delores Pippin and her husband, Tom, 3 granddaughters: Teresa Cornelius, Darlene Dulyea and her husband, and Robyn Pfannenstiel; eight great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. Services will be conducted Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. by Bill Day and Ken Baird at the Northwest Church of Christ, 4301 NW 23rd St., OKC, OK. Burial will follow at Britton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical REsearch Foundation for Alzheimer's.
