Fay O. Burnett, 94, born March 2, 1903 in Oklahoma Territory, died Tuesday, June 24, 1997 at St. Ann's Home in Oklahoma City. Her father was in the Run of '89. Mrs. Burnett was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.O. and Amanda Black; husband, Samuel E.; and a daughter, Mary Ann Burnett.

Fay is survived by her children, Betty J. Voss of Edmond, Barbara & Jack Hobgood of Bethany, and Charles E. & Janice Burnett of Norman; grandchildren, Judy & Joe Telford, Barbara Voss, M.D., Martha & Roy Chritchfield, Cathy & Jon McGhee, Janet & Joe Miller, James Burnett , Jerry M. & Teri Burnett ; 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 27th at Fairlawn Cemetery

Sam E. Burnett , age 84, died April 21, 1988 in OKC, Ok. Born in OKC, Ok., member of Crestwood Baptist Church.

Sam is survived by wife, Fay of the home; daughters, Betty Voss, north of OKC, Barbara Hobgood, Bethany; a son, Charles of Norman; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.

Service 11am Monday, April 25, 1988, graveside at Fairlawn Cemetery. Directed by Smith & Kernke.
