Elizabeth Marie Butts , 52, died Saturday in Oklahoma City.

She began her journey on August 3, 1946, in Pond Creek, Oklahoma. She was born to William Lois and Erma Avanell Ferguson. Her journey took her to Enid, OK in 1961, and she graduated from the Enid High School in 1965. Her journey blossomed on June 6, 1969 when she married Richard Lynn Butts in Enid. Together with their children, they journeyed to Tuttle in 1983, and then to Oklahoma City in 1992. "Liz" had a great sense of humor and truly loved her family, friends, and co-workers. She enjoyed such things as sewing, reading, crocheting, and crossword puzzles. She worked as a bookkeeper all of her adult life and was a treasured employee at AutoCraft industries for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Richard L. Butts of the home; daughters, Stacey Clowers of Nampa, ID, Trina Riley of Pocasset, OK; brothers, Earl and Donald Ferguson of Worland, WY; sister, Earlene Coffee of Palmdale, CA; four granddaughters; and 1 great-grandson.

Liz was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Lois Ann Chrisman and Delores Nehring. We will celebrate Liz's journey on Tuesday, April 20, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. with graveside service in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid, OK.

Many thanks to the staff and doctors of Mercy Hospital and the Mercy Hospice for the care, attention, and love shared with our "Liz".
