Hubert Cannon, died June 30, 1996 at his home in Oklahoma City, at the age of 68 years and 6 days. 

He was born to John H. and Ettie Cannon in Erick, Oklahoma on June 24, 1928. He graduated from the Crawford, Oklahoma high school in 1946. He served his country in the Army from 1947 to 1949 and was honorably discharged.

Hubert married Patricia Coombs of Arnett, Oklahoma on June 2, 1950 at Pampa, Texas. They resided in Arnett where they owned and operated a dry cleaning business until they moved to Farmington, New Mexico where he was employed by El Paso Natural Gas Company for several years until he acquired his own business Advance Supply.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was very active in civic duties and received the Civitan Award. He was a member of the Farming Elk Club for 28 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. 

He is survived by his wife Pat of the home, one son Jack and wife Karen of Oklahoma City, one daughter Dawn of New Mexico, five grandchildren, Chad, Misty, Amy, Michael and Kelly all of Oklahoma City, 4 sisters, Lillian Fitzgerald of Indian Lake Estates, Florida, Wilma Fitzgerald, New Braumfels, Texas, Jessie Flori, Austin, Texas, Jeffie Vodermark, Lompoc, California, 2 brothers, Johhny A. Cannon and Herbert Cannon both of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, and many other relatives and friends.
