Louis A Capell, 81, of 2229 SW 30, died Friday at St. Anthony Hospital after a long illness. Services are pending with Hunter Funeral Home.

He was born in France and came to the United States in 1910. He was a retired coal miner.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son Louis Ambrose Jr., Poteau; six daughters, Mrs. Emogene Franklin, Mrs. H.D. Hollie, Mrs. John Hudson, Mrs. James Jacobs, Mrs. Warren Strickland, and Mrs. Ray Modisette, and a brother, Binoni, Joliet, Illinois.

Burial at Shady Point Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma.
