Patrick William Carney, age 84, born Nov. 12, 1899 in Lahoma OK, died March 20 in
OKC. He was retired regional director of the Wage and Hour and Public
Contracts Division. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of the home; 3
daughters, Mrs. Anthony (Kay) Linhart and Mrs. Mike (Lou) Keef, both of OKC,
and Mrs. Don (Martha) Markus of Birmingham Al; 6 sisters, Maude Carney and
Pauline Keck, both of Enid, Mary Zeiders of OKC, Irene Wilkus of Kansas City
MO, Ella Collins of Chicago IL, and Kate O'Brien of NYC, NY; and 11
grandchildren. Rosary services 7pm Wednesday, March 21 in the Smith &
Kernke Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 10am Thursday, in the St. Charles
Borromeo Catholic Church with burial in the
Resurrection Cemetery.

Dorothy B.Carney , 91, passed away on September 18, 1997. She
was an avid bridge player and achieved a life master certificate
from the American Contract Bridge Association in 1994. She will
be missed by her many friends and loving family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Patrick Carney ,
and daughter Mary Lou Keefe. She is survived by daughters; Kay
and her husband Tony Linhart; Martha and her husband Don Markus;
son-in-law Mike Keefe; eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great
grandchildren. Memorial gifts may be made to The American Heart
Association.
An Evening Prayer Service will be 7:00 p.m. Sunday September
21, 1997 at Smith and Kernke Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial
will be 10:00 a.m. Monday September 22, 1997 at St. Charles
Borromeo Church.
