Christensen, Jack "Chris", 55, of OKC, died unexpectedly Friday,
Aug. 15, 1997.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 28 years, Carol, his
mother, Pearl Choate, sister Linda and her husband John Kerr,
brothers Dennis and his wife Heather Choate, Roger and his wife
Glenda Choate, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends
from Crown Heights Christian Church, fellow employees from World
Neighbors, and many others.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Christensen ,
stepfather Verna Choate, and brother Keith Choate. Jack worked 8
years with the World Neighbors Organization as a graphic
designer, photographer, and production manager. He had
previously been employed with the Benham Group. He had a talent
for capturing the spirit of people through his photography and
descriptions. Jack was active in his church and shared his faith
in many ways. He recently began the Whiz Kids ministry at his
church.
A memorial service will be Monday, August 18th at 11:00 a.m. at
Crown Heights Christian Church. Honorariums in his memory can be
made to World Neighbors or to Crown Heights Christian Church.
