Vivian Marie Clark, born May 10, 1913 in Stillwater, Ok. to Fred
L. Clark and Myrtle Frances Welch Myers. Graduated from Central
High School in OKC in May of 1931. Graduated from U.C.O. with a
Bachelor of Arts Degree and received a Masters of Education from
O.U. She began her teaching in OKC in 1935. She taught at
Westwood, Irving, Riverside, Rockwood, Lee, Kaiser, and was at
Harrison Elementary from 1954-1978. She was a member of OEA, NEA,
Kappa Kappa Iota - Gamma Gamma Conclave, Alpha Delta Kappa
Honorary Society of Women, Nova Chapter Eastern Star, Queen
Christina Court 11 Order of the Amaranth, White Shrine 21. She
was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church since 1941 and
attended Ridgecrest United Methodist Church on Sunday evening
with Lorene and Robert Brunson.
She is survived by the family of Keith and Susie Hinchey; and
many, many friends and students from her classes. Memorials may
be made to Wesley United Methodist Church or the charity of your
choice. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 9,
1994 at 10:30 a.m. at
Fairlawn Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
