Leonard Coker, age 73, died Tuesday, November 7, 2000 at his son's home in Mustang. He was born August 14, 1927 in Oklahoma City to Lem and Manolia Mae Beck Coker . He grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Capitol Hill High School. He served twenty four years in the US Navy retiring in 1968. He had lived the last twelve years in Kingman, Arizona and had recently moved back to the Mustang area. He was a member of the Catholic Church.

He is survived by four sons, Jody Coker and wife, Beverly of Mustang, Lenny Coker and wife, Linda of New Braunfels, Texas, Kevin Coker and wife, Lisa of Kuwait, Toby Coker and wife, Deanna of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Alana Gaye Coker of Paris, France and Valerie McNair and husband, Troy of Tuttle. Also by sixteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two brothers Ernest Coker of Kingman, Ariz. and Clarence Todd Coker of Mustang; three sisters, Betty Marie Thomas of Mustang, Lou C. Kerr and Mary Coker of Okla.. City & fiancée, Peggy Lawson of Kingman, Arizona.

The family will meet friends at McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday with graveside rites planned for 2 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2000 at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
