Virginia Freeman Crabtree, widow of Elbert Dale Crabtree, died on January 8, 2009.

 She is survived by her son, F. Dale Crabtree of Oklahoma City, and her daughter, Dianne Pippin of Dukalani, Hawaii. Her grandchildren are David Lynn Crabtree and Catherine Crabtree Ratliff, both of Oklahoma City, and Jason Felton of Boerne, Texas. Her great grandchildren are Brock Ratliff and Liam Crabtree, both of Oklahoma City, and Jennings Felton of Boerne, Texas. Her niece, Paula Miller, lives in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Family services will be private. Memorials may be made to Westminster Child Care Center,  Oklahoma City, OK St. John's Episcopal School, Oklahoma City, OK or World Neighbors, Oklahoma City, OK .
