Carol Daniels was found dead Aug. 23 [2009]
after people arriving for services notified police
that the door to the small Pentecostal church in
Anadarko (an-uh-DAHR'-koh) was locked. Police found
the 61-year-old's body inside.
Son, Alvin Daniels said all his mother wanted to do
was preach about God. She drove 60 miles every week
to Anadarko to hold services.
A prayer memorial for the Rev. Carol Daniels is at 7
p.m. today at Greater First Baptist Church, 502 E
Washington, Anadarko. Funeral services will be at 1
p.m. Monday at Greater New Zion Baptist Church, 1005
NE 28, Oklahoma City.
Funeral services for 61-year-old Carol Daniels are
set for 1 p.m. Monday at the Greater New Zion
Baptist Church in northeast Oklahoma City. Mourners
and those wishing to pay final respects to the Rev.
Carol Daniels began to file into the Greater New
Zion Baptist Church sanctuary more than an hour
before the 1 p.m. service today.
