Dowdy, Nell Porter, 84, of Del City, passed away Thursday, March 16, 1995. She was born Oct. 29, 1910 in Nashville, Tn. Ms. Dowdy was a retired LPN and moved to Del City, Ok. in Dec., 1993 to be near her son.

She leaves behind her beloved son, Robert M. Dowdy, Jr.; 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; a brother, Irvin Smith of Orlando, Fl.; a sister, Laura Richards of Winter Park, Fl.; many nieces and nephews; plus a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers; and one sister.

Services will be Monday, March 20, 1995, 1:00 p.m. in the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with burial in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
