Evelyn Louise Duston, 87, of Midwest
City died Sunday, March 5, 2006. Evelyn was born Oct. 1, 1918 in
Pittsburg, Okla., the third of nine children born to George and
Izona Painter. She attended and graduated high school in Atoka
and married F.P. Duston on July 12, 1941 in Marietta, Okla. They
were married 64 years and eight months. Louise and F.P. moved to
Midwest City in 1951 where she was a homemaker and a member of
the First Christian Church of Midwest City. She was a member of
the Iris Society and loved to go to Las Vegas where she was
sometimes pretty lucky.
Mrs. Duston is survived by her husband,
F.P. Duston; two daughters, Carolyn Washburn born in 1942 and
Sherry Mosley born in 1946; two brothers, Dick and Kenneth
Painter; grandchildren, Cindy Bates, Jimmy Mason, Julie
Stafford, Mike Mosley and Melissa Gregg; great-grandchildren,
Kendra Mason, Eric Mason, Randy Mason, Keith Stafford, Melissa
Stafford and Caileon Delancy.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, five brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were 4 p.m. Monday,
March 6, 2006 at the Candlewood Chapel and were conducted by
Ford Funeral Service.
